Desteni:
Hi! I am currently a freshman at the University of Pennsylvania in the College of Arts and Science. My intended major is Biology with a minor in Gender, Women's and Sexuality Studies. I am from Nashville, Tennessee. I have an interest in health care on both a local and global scale. Some extracurricular activities I participate in aside from Model Congress are GlobeMed, Roberson Cooper Scholars, and the Minority Association of Pre-Health. Please feel free to contact me at desteni@sas.upenn.edu if you have any questions. I am looking forward to a great conference!

Samantha:
Hi! I'm Samantha and I'm a freshman at Penn in the Wharton School. I'm undecided on my concentrations, but I'm considering Marketing, Management, and Finance for now. I was born and raised in Las Vegas and attended math/science academies for both middle and high school. While I didn't do Model Congress in high school, I was the head speechwriter for two We the People units. At Penn, I worked with a sustainability magazine my first semester, and I'm currently looking to find a few service opportunities for my second semester. If you have any questions about Penn, please feel free to email me at samfre@wharton.upenn.edu. I look forward to meeting you all soon, and I hope to make your Penn MC experience an amazing one!
